An Advanced Practice Chiropractic Certified doctor is a chiropractic physician with advanced academic and clinical experience, which enables him or her to diagnose and manage most common and many chronic illnesses, either independently or as part of a health care team. An Advanced Practice Certified doctor often works in collaboration with an allopathic physician or groups of physicians to provide high-quality, cost-effective and individualized care for the lifespan of patient’s special needs.
Advanced Practice Chiropractic-Certified (APC-C) The Advanced Practice Certified doctor strives for excellence in academic and clinical training to provide quality health care to the people we serve. The American Chiropractic Physician Credentialing Center (ACPCC) provides the chiropractic physician with advanced training, a systematic and thorough process to have his or her post-doctoral education and clinical training assessed, their competency as a mid-level health care provider evaluated through testing and once core competencies and criteria are met, a designation for the recognition of these competencies as an advanced practice certified doctor of chiropractic.
